Dockside Coffee loyalty card, 7 of 10 stamps.
See it as a

A paper card only works if the customer still has it. A card in their wallet is still there in March, and it can tell them they are two stamps from a reward.

Why paper cards fail

The stamp card works. The paper doesn’t.

Loyalty is not the broken part — the medium is. Here is the honest comparison, one failure at a time.

Paper punch cards

How it has always been done

  • 01It ends up in a bin

Card stock lives in a back pocket until laundry day, then in a drawer, then nowhere.

  • 02It is at home when they are at your counter

No card means no stamp, which means the visit you just earned leaves no trace at all.

  • 03You cannot measure any of it

You know the faces. You do not know how often they come, or what a regular is worth.

  • 04Churn happens in silence

A regular stops coming and you find out months later, with no way to reach them.

Loyalisto wallet passes

The same idea, finally measurable

  • 01It sits beside their bank cards

The pass is in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, and it follows them onto their next phone.

  • 02The count changes on the lock screen

Staff scan, the balance updates moments later, and nobody has to open anything to see it.

  • 03Every visit is a row that belongs to you

Cards issued, visits, redemptions and who has gone quiet — on a list you can export.

  • 04You can say something before they are gone

A message to the card reaches anyone who has not been in for a month, and they can opt out from it.

Keep the mechanic your customers already understand. Change what it is printed on.

ROI calculator

What is one more visit a month actually worth?

Move the sliders to your own numbers. The sum is the one you would do yourself: a few more visits a week, times what a visit spends.

The sum

120 × $14 × 30 days × 11% = $5,544 a month

It assumes each extra visit spends your average order, and that the lift you set is a lift you get. Shops usually land between 5% and 20% once the card is on the lock screen doing the asking — where you land in that range is yours to estimate, not ours to promise.

Why it works
A paper card asks a customer to keep something. A wallet card asks them to keep their phone.
That is the whole argument. Everything else on this page is detail.

Everything included

A loyalty programme, not a loyalty app.

Every plan includes all of it. The difference between plans is how many customers you have and how much of the campaign work we do for you.

The card itself

It lives in the wallet app already on their phone. Nothing to download, nothing to lose.

  • Apple Wallet and Google Wallet

One card, both platforms, built from the same design. It sits beside their boarding passes and bank cards.

  • Your colours, your logo

Design the card in the browser: background, stamp icon, artwork. See it exactly as your customer will.

  • Joining takes one scan

A code on the counter, on a receipt, or on a leaflet. They point a camera at it and the card is in their wallet.

  • Wallet Lab

Paste your website and the card builds itself from your own branding. See it before you commit to anything.

Getting them back through the door

A loyalty card that nobody is reminded of is a loyalty card nobody finishes.

  • Updates on the lock screen

The balance changes on their phone moments after a visit. They never open anything to see it.

  • The card appears when they walk past

Set your shop’s location and the pass surfaces on the lock screen when a customer is nearby.

  • Reminders when a reward is close

Two stamps from a free coffee is the moment worth a nudge. It goes out on its own.

  • Birthdays and win-backs

A reward that lands on the day, and a message to anyone who has not been in for a while.

What it asks of you

Less than the paper cards did. No new hardware, and no training that takes longer than a coffee.

  • Any phone is the scanner

Staff sign in with one shared six-digit code. No accounts to create, nobody locked out mid-shift.

  • Stamps, points, tiers, referrals

Run one or several. Change what earns a reward whenever you like and every card already issued picks it up.

  • You keep the customer list

Who they are, how often they come, what they redeem. Yours to export, and yours to message.

  • Numbers that mean something

Cards issued, visits, redemptions and who has gone quiet. Not a chart of impressions.

Five ways to bring someone back.

Run one, or run several at once. Change what it takes to earn a reward whenever you like, and every card already issued picks it up.

  • Stamp card

Buy ten, the eleventh is on you.

  • Points

Earn per dollar spent, spend points on rewards.

    MANAGED

Both sides get something when a friend joins.

Set it up in an afternoon.

  1. 01

    Describe the reward

Pick how customers earn and what they get. Ten stamps for a free coffee, points per dollar, a reward on their birthday.

  2. 02

Put the code where they stand

You get a QR code. Print it for the counter, add it to a receipt, put it on the window. They scan it once and the card is in their phone.

  3. 03

Staff tap to add a stamp

Any phone or tablet becomes the scanner. Your team signs in with a six-digit code. No new hardware, no POS integration.

It works alongside whatever till you already use, whether that is Square, SumUp or a cash drawer.

Card customizer

Design your card right here, right now.

Type your name, pick a colour, choose the mark. This is the card itself — the same stamp artwork the wallet pass is built from, not a picture of one.

Straight answers

The questions every owner asks before they say yes.

Six objections, answered with what the product does today. Ask us anything else and you will have a reply the same day.

Do I have to change my till or integrate my POS?

No, and there is nothing to integrate. Loyalisto never sits in the payment path — it runs beside whatever till you already have, so there is nothing to install on it and nothing that breaks when your card terminal is replaced.

How long does it take to train the staff?

About two minutes. They open your scanner page on any phone or tablet, sign in with a six-digit code you control, and point the camera at the customer’s pass. There is no app to install, no terminal to buy and no account for anyone to be locked out of mid-shift.

How does a customer get the card in the first place?

They point a phone camera at your QR code — on the counter, in the window, on a receipt or on an invoice — and tap Add to Wallet. No app store, no account, no password. It takes under ten seconds while the drink is being made.

Does it work on Android as well as iPhone?

Yes, and it is the same card. iPhone customers get an Apple Wallet pass, Android customers get a Google Wallet pass, both built from the one design you made. Both update live after a scan and both can put a message on the lock screen.

What happens if the internet drops at the counter?

A stamp needs a connection, and we would rather say so than promise you a queue of stamps you cannot see. The scanner is a web page rather than an app, so any staff phone on mobile data keeps the queue moving when the shop wifi does not — and when a camera will not focus in a dark corner, the twelve characters printed under the code on the pass can be typed in instead.

Can I reach the customers who stopped coming in?

That is the reason to hold the list. A win-back message goes to anyone who has not visited inside the window you set, birthday rewards land on the day, and you can push a one-off message to a segment yourself. It arrives on the card, on the lock screen, and the customer can opt out from the card itself.

Give your regulars a reason to be regular.
