Say something worth interrupting someone for.
Loyalisto knows who came in, how often, and how close they are to a reward. That is what makes a message land instead of annoy. It goes to the card already in their phone, so it arrives on the lock screen without an app.

The message, and the thing that set it off. Each one arrives as an update to the card the customer is already holding. The ones marked automatic run on a rule, in your own words, and need a plan that carries them, which the table further down sets out. A one-off says one of the ready-made messages, filled in for each card.
We have not seen you in a while. Your next wash is half price until Sunday.
You are two grooms away from a free full groom. There is space on Thursday.
Happy birthday from Nine Barbers. A free beard trim is waiting on your card.

That is ten visits with us, and we noticed. A free tune-up is waiting on your card.
Four steps to send one.
The same four whether it goes out once on a Friday or runs quietly for a year.
- 1
Build the audience
Filter by how often somebody comes, what their balance is, when they were last in, which program they are on, or the tier they have reached.
- 2
Choose the message
A send to an audience says one of the ready-made messages, and each one fills in the customer’s name, their balance or how close the reward is, so every person gets their own version of the line. A rule that runs on its own sends the words you give it.
- 3
Choose the trigger
Send it now, schedule it for a date, or leave a rule running that fires on behavior: thirty days quiet, a birthday, a reward about to expire, a tier just reached.
- 4
See where it landed
Each campaign reports how many went out, how many failed, and how many were held back because that person turned card messages off before it was sent.
Who you are allowed to message.
Messaging customers has rules, and they are not the same in every state. Loyalisto is built so only the people who joined your program hear from you and the opt-out always works, which is the part you would otherwise have to think about.
Only people who joined
Your audience is the customers who added your card and have not turned its messages off. There is no list to buy, and nothing arrives from anywhere else.
Installing the card is the opt-in
A message only reaches a card that is actually sitting in a wallet. Every time a customer turns messages off or back on, the change is written to a log with the time it happened and where it came from.
One link turns it off
Every card carries its own preferences link. Opening it shows what is switched on, switching it off takes effect on the next send, and there is no email to us in the middle.
Their data is theirs
From that same link a customer can export everything you hold on them, or ask for the lot to be deleted.
What each plan carries.
| Plan | Wallet messages a month | Campaigns that send themselves |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 2,000 | Welcome and reward-earned messages only |
| Growth | 7,500 | Included |
| Managed | 20,000 | Included |
The allowance counts every message that reaches a card: campaigns, the automatic messages, and the note a stamp card gets after each stamp. It resets at the start of each month. Past the limit a send stops rather than quietly costing you money. If you are planning something larger than your plan carries, write to hello@loyalisto.com first and we will set it up with you.
The quiet regular is the one to write to.
Build the program first, and the audience builds itself. You enter card details only when you pick a plan.
